For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. But growing up with an immigrant father who struggled changed everything. Seeing his unfair challenges made me determined to become a lawyer—not just for him, but for others like him.
My deep sense of justice drives me every day. My brothers once said I cared too much, but after 20 years in practice, I know that empathy makes me a better attorney.
When I sit across from a client, I see my dad, my family—and I remember why I chose this path.
What is your unique approach/style to handling cases?
My approach to the law has always been personal—I don’t just want to fight for my clients; I want them to feel heard, to know someone is standing beside them. My dad always said that the greatest gift you can give is to touch someone’s heart, to make them remember how you made them feel. That’s the foundation of my work, and I hope every client I help walks away feeling exactly that.
