H1B visa requirements
To qualify, you must be coming to work in the US in a job that normally a bachelor’s degree in a specific major or field.
To prove that, our lawyers will work with you to collect evidence that proves that employers like yours typically require a bachelor's degree for a job like yours.
USCIS holds an annual H1B visa lottery, where companies must register employees whom they want to sponsor for an H1B visa.
If the employee’s registration is chosen in the lottery, the company sponsor can then submit an application for an H1B visa on behalf of the worker.
Certain employers, such as Universities and nonprofit research organizations, are exempt from the “cap” and do not need to participate in the lottery to apply for H1B visas for their employees.
