Hosted By: Nicole Gunara, Principal Attorney, Manifest Law | Date: July 17, 2025
If you're an ambitious immigrant navigating the U.S. green card process, your success shouldn’t rest on a single petition. In this live webinar hosted on July 17, 2025, Manifest Law’s Principal Attorney Nicole Gunara unpacks how “stacking” the EB-1A and EB-2 NIW pathways can give you both speed and security—especially if you’re born in India or China, where visa backlogs are longest.
“You should treat immigration like a stove,” Nicole explained. “The more pots you have cooking, the better your chances of serving something successful.”
Whether you’re aiming to prove extraordinary ability or national interest, this strategic approach could cut years off your wait and open the door to a more flexible future. Watch the full webinar replay at the top of this page!

EB-1A vs. EB-2 NIW: Two Powerful Tools
The EB-1A green card is for individuals with extraordinary ability—those at the very top of their field, with strong evidence like awards, media recognition, and leadership roles.
The EB-2 NIW green card is for those whose work has national importance, including researchers, innovators, public interest professionals, and policy contributors.
Priority Dates and Processing Time Explained
EB-1A often moves faster and has premium processing available (15 business days).
EB-2 NIW now offers premium processing in about 45 business days.
But for backlogged countries like India and China, even approved petitions can face years of waiting—making smart timing and stacking essential.
Filing Smartly: How Stacking Works
You can file EB-2 NIW first to establish an early priority date, then build toward an EB-1A petition. Once both are approved, you gain flexibility in choosing the fastest path available when your priority date becomes current.
